Earthquake in Ecuador

Hi everyone. You are probably wondering if our trip is cancelled or postponed. As of today, we are going ahead. We just spoke to our trip operator and she said that we are not heading into the affected areas. Both airports that we would be using are operational, our hotels are in good shape, and the Galapagos islands were not affected at all. We now have to keep our fingers crossed that there will not be any huge aftershocks. If this were to happen, then our plans could change. We also have to keep an eye on the government website to see about advisories.
I will post any changes, otherwise I will be starting the blog on Thursday.
